- Gabby was
out of a set of triplets. I sold her to a friend as a kid but was
able to get her back as a yearling. I lost her sister during kid
birth so was really glad I went back to get her before her owner
moved out of state. Gabby has never been one to place at the very
top but has consistently placed well. She has a very secure
mammary not as big as her dams only due to management... I didn't
think she was bred when she was 3 so put her outside with the dry
goats who doesn't get the special attention as the bred does do.
One day while feeding I noticed that she wasn't acting right so
brought her in and luckily so as she kidded with trip bucks later
that day. It took its toll on her and it took many months for her
to recover, I wasn't even sure she would come into a good enough
milk for me to show her. She did just enough but not to her full
potential. This year she is in great condition and has grown alot
and I feel she will be at the top and be a competitive gal! She is
very correct with a strong mammary and has the potential to have a
capacious mammary.
