- Rhapsody was
a gift to me from Patti Dean and I thank Patti for letting me have
her. Rhap has been a sweetheart and just a kind hearted gal always
wanting some love and ready to give it back. Rhap is a big gal just
correct all the from her poll to her tail... even though she has a
crooked face which has gotten a lot better with age to the point now
that it has become just a bite issue as she smiles at you! I have
used 2 sons out of Rhap and have 2 daughters and MANY granddaughters
and have yet to have a face or bite issue. I feel it was something
in utero with a sibling laying on her face. She has done well in the
ring with even a GCH under her belt. She has a beautiful SOLID
SECURE mammary with very nice plum teats. Rhap was one that was
involved in the mineral/feed issue problems I had in 06. She has
settled each year since but not without complications thru either
aborting or premature kidding in 07 & 10 both times not coming into
enough milk to continue putting her on the stand. Rhap has two
daughters now, one that has a nice solid mammary just had had way to
many to milk and she had more milk than I needed so I sold her to
Julie Huffman, another that I kept and bred as a yearling which
turned out prettier than I would have ever expected with a beautiful
globular udder, just a very stylish doe.
