MY HEELERS

We just love our Blue and Red Cattle dogs!!

They have been an essential part of our farm and very beneficial to the safety of our goats !!

Sidney is our Red Heeler, she had pups last November. She did a terrific job raising them and they all grew up fast and were sold as soon as they were weaned.

Much to my surprise Sidney's pups were born white except for some very prominent markings around the ears and eyes. This sparked my curiosity to do a little investigating. They have very distent Dalmation blood lines, so when they are born they are almost solid white, the older they get the more color and prominent the markings get!! Picture was taken around Christmas. We included these new born Boer cross goats and decided to make a Christmas card out of this picture.

Chelsea is our first Blue heeler, she is 16 years old and we lover her to death!! Unfortunately we had her spaded when she was a pup not knowing that we were going to get into breeding these beautiful dogs.

Freckles is watching over our cattle.
Freckles is no longer with us any more but we loved her and will miss her very much! She was born deaf and did quite well with it but eventually she became very vicious and we had to put her down. Farewell my girl may you be able to hear where you are now!!
